God’s been teaching me to fly by the seat of my pants over the last several months. I’m learning this isn’t just for a season – it’s something I’m adopting as a lifestyle. If you know me at all, you know flying by the seat of my pants is not second nature to me. I’ve realized that for me, it all boils down to trust. Who am I going to trust? Will I trust my well-thought-out plans? Or will I trust God who knows all, who is I AM, and who thrives in the interruptions of life? I’ve made up my mind. This is my decision. I’m moving forward free and unfettered as He’s asking me to do, living carefree in the care of God, trusting Him, my one and only constant. Why? Because He's Worthy! Will you join me in this wild and exhuberating journey?

Celebrating Life!

One of the biggest joys in my life right now is having four adorable nephews to love on and play with! There’s nothing like a little ones hugs and their sweet words.  Joshua, the oldest of my four nephews, recently said to me, “Will you hold me in your arms and hug me sweetly?”  Who could say no to that?
My fourth nephew just joined us, and I have yet to meet this adorable little guy.

Meet Edson Jaaziel Tejeda! His name means son of a fortunate warrior made bold by God. He was born on March 9 at a whopping 7 lbs 4 oz and is 19 inches long. Some of you may recall that my sister’s first baby was a preemie arriving at just under 3 lbs. So you can imagine our delight for a full term pregnancy and a healthy baby. In fact, if you take a look at the picture below,  you’ll see the Tejeda brother comparison. Jayden is on the left and Edson is on the right. Both pictures were taken shortly after their births. The soccer ball is the same exact soccer ball in both photos. So you can see the size difference between the two boys when they were born. Crazy! He’s a bit colicky so Mom and Dad aren’t getting much sleep these days…but we have much to be thankful for and are praising God for a healthy little boy and a healthy mommy! Congrats Betsy and Gerson! I can’t wait to meet Edson in person!
